I had some very boring errands to run after work, so except for grabbing beers with an industry friend, I really didn't do anything exciting last night. I wanted to check out the pet carriers for Sheldog's Flight Adventure 2010, but did not make it to a pet store. Hopefully I can check some out tonight, because according to my vet we need to start training ASAP.
Do you know what's not boring? Vegetables.
Salad Mountain
I know you're sitting there thinking, "But I thought she had square plates? What's she doing with a circle plate?!" Don't be alarmed. Square plates are about half the size of circle plates for portion control reasons. However, when making salads, portion control is a non-issue.
Buried in this Asian-inspired heap of greenery is five lettuce blend, cucumbers, some sweet peppers from my mama's garden, red onions and sprouts. I went a little overboard with the sprouts, but I'm okay with that.
Questions
- Do you theme your salads? Asian, Mexican, etc?
- What do your plates look like? Do you have a favorite plate?
- Are you excited for Project Runway tonight, or what?
