I'm the only vegetarian in my group of friends, but how cool is it that they let me make an entirely vegetarian dinner? Seriously. They all wanted tofu and not chicken. Well, except for one, but she brought some leftover steak to meat-ify her meal. Which is still cool.
Deep-fried cream cheese pouffies.
Steamed Veggie Eggrolls.
And wine. Of course.
My plate. We'll pretend I just had the one.
It was a wonderful way to end a crazy week. That only lead to a crazy weekend. I left my friend's house around 8 o'clock on Saturday morning. Everyone else stayed. And then it snowed. A lot. I was safe and sound at home, but everyone else was stuck at my friend's. Until Sunday.
In case you haven't heard, Minnesota got slammed with snow. Yes. Slammed. With seventeen inches, my friends. Seventeen inches of snow.

Speaking of dealing with, according to the weather, it's -4 degrees right now. But with windchill, -21. For my Canadian readers, that's -30 C. Why do I live here?
- Does it snow where you live? Does it snow a lot?
- What did you do this weekend?
- Which sounds better, deep fried cream cheese pouffies or steamed eggrolls?
